Phase 1 of the Comrie towards Baird's Monument is from Tomperran to Invermilton.

This is a green field alignment that starts at a proposed crossing of the A85 and uses field margins away from the redundant railway line as it heads towards the River Earn.

The route avoids possible hazards from farm machinery and traffic in the Invermilton area and the project partners have been working with Caledonia Homes (Scotland) Ltd to accommodate the planned development at Tomperran. 

This phase of the project has been designed and is ready to construct once funding is secured.
