PKCT was delighted to receive the news recently that a P5 class from the Community School of Auchterarder has achieved their Silver Wild Journey award! To our knowledge, they are the first class in Perth and Kinross to do this. 

The class have been working with the teacher to complete activities from the flexible outdoor learning programme since the start of the school year. Having previously celebrated their Bronze Award with them before Christmas, it is wonderful to see how quickly and enthusiastically they have progressed through the programme.

Wild Journey has six different activity streams to complete, and each one comes with its own certificate. As an extra challenge, participants can see if they can complete multiple streams, to get their bronze, silver and gold Wild Journey certificates - they are not easy to achieve, and it requires real commitment to gain these. 

Everyone at PKCT would like to say a big well done to P5 at the Community School of Auchterarder and we hope your work has inspired others to give the activities a try. We also wish them best of luck as they strive towards achieving the gold certificate!
