Fancy a week-long walking getaway or a nice long walk over the weekend? Then the Cateran Trail is one for you!

With 64 miles / 103 km of trails, stunning scenery and delightful villages perfect for stopping to recharge and refuel, the Cateran Trail has something for everyone looking for a bit of an adventure. Fill your boots with woodlands, glens, moors and more.

Before you come, be sure to plan your visit. Details of transport, accommodation and where to eat change all the time in rural Scotland, so make sure you are always working with the latest information.

Transport

We recommend that you use the Traveline Scotland website to plan your travel as it has all the latest timetables and travel details.

There are all kinds of accommodation options on the Cateran Trail from castles to yurts, you can find a variety of accommodation on the Visit Cateran Country and the Glen of the Fairies websites.
