  1. Education

Education

PKCT is committed to providing education and engagement opportunities that enhance people’s understanding and appreciation of the countryside.

Through our education projects, programmes and events, we aim to increase people’s knowledge of the local countryside. We also hope to increase the accessibility of these natural resources and make sure that everyone can benefit from the health and wellbeing benefits of using the outdoors.  Biodiversity loss and climate change are key focus points for our education work, and we create opportunities to help communities learn about, and take direct action for, nature and the environment.

Our education work is possible thanks to generous funding from The Gannochy Trust and the Forteviot Trust.

You can find full details in our Discovery, Learning and Engagement report for 2023.

Take a look at our opportunities below and contact our Discovery, Learning and Engagement Officer, Catherine Leatherland, for more information on how you can get involved.
