PKCT's Youth Council PKCT’s Youth Council is a way for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 to get involved with our projects and give their views. With 4 meetings a year in locations around Perth and Kinross, Youth Council members have a chance to meet like minded outdoor enthusiasts, attend events, shadow staff members, and get valuable volunteering experience to stand them in good stead for the future. Since starting in 2024 our Youth Council members have: heard from climate activists; attended nature conferences; pitched project ideas; and undertaken work experience that helped with a college application. All while having fun and eating snacks! So whether you’re passionate about hiking trails, mountain biking, river sports, camping, outdoor education, bird watching, or even just enjoying a stroll or a picnic we’d love to hear from you and find out how you think we could protect and enhance access to the great outdoors. If this sounds like something for you, register your interest by emailing PKCT’s Discovery, Learning and Engagement Officer Catherine at [email protected] Check out the video below to find out more: Manage Cookie Preferences
