What will Youth Council Members do?

Youth Council Members act as ambassadors for PKCT. They will attend regular annual meetings to review, discuss, and provide input on the work of the Trust. There will also be opportunities to attend events, support campaigns, and gain new experiences. 

All Youth Council members will be supported by PKCT to put their volunteering towards achieving their Saltire awards, or other awards schemes they might be completing where compatible.

Do I need to have specific skills and qualifications?

The most important thing is that you enjoy and value the countryside in Perth and Kinross, and want to help others to do the same. There are a few key requirements though and these are given below:

•       Age 12-18 (must not have 19^th birthday in the year of application; must be at least 12 years old at point of application)
• Resident in Perth and Kinross
