Road closures and diversions

A93 GLENSHEE

In order to permit Resurfacing Works on the above section of road I recommend that a temporary traffic regulation order be prepared. It is to be effective from the 31st August 2022 for a period of four weeks.

The order will temporarily prohibit all vehicles from driving, parking and loading on the A93, Glenshee from its junction with the access to MacThomas car park (314237, 764132) to its junction with the private access to property known as Tigh-Na-Coil (314161, 765093), a distance of 1.03 kilometres or thereby.

Pedestrian & emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.

The alternative route for vehicles is via –

A93 – A926 – A90(T) – A957 – A93

A93 LAIR BRAE - GLENSHEE

In order to permit Resurfacing Works on the above section of road I recommend that a temporary traffic regulation order be prepared. It is to be effective from the 8th September 2022 for a period of four weeks.

The order will temporarily prohibit all vehicles from driving, parking and loading on the A93 Lair Brae, Glenshee from its junction with the private access to property known as Glenshee Pottery (314247, 763482) to its junction with the private access to property known as Tigh-Na-Coil (314161, 765093), a distance of 1.66 kilometres or thereby.

Pedestrian & emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.

The alternative route for vehicles is via –

A93 – A926 – A90(T) – A957 – A93

Closed

Blackcraig Forest - the Cateran Trail is also closed through Blackcraig Forest due to fallen trees caused by Storm Arwen.

Diversions

Kindrogan Forest (Kirkmichael to Enochdhu) - Due to fallen trees along the Cateran Trail, there is a diversion now in place for safe passage through the forest. Click on map below to see it in more detail.

Kirkton of Glenisla - the Brackny Pedestrian Bridge which crosses the River Isla at Kirkton of Glenisla is now reopened to all users. 

Glenisla bridge is reopen with new decking

Drimmie Wood - There are a number of trees down in Drimmie Wood, so it is not advisable to visit at this time.
