PKCT Trustee Jane Adams

Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust (PKCT) is pleased to welcome Perth Citizens Advice Bureau’s Chief Executive Officer Jane Adams to its Board of Trustees.

Jane’s senior charity management experience will go along way to helping to support the work PKCT already does and help develop it for the future.

PKCT is an independent charity that negotiates access to land, builds paths, helps care for the countryside and undertakes conservation projects all to improve and promote access to the countryside for walker, cyclists and horse riders. It manages Perthshire Big Tree Country, the Cateran Trail , the River Tay Way and Perthshire Nature Connections Partnership, as well as works with communities.

PKCT’s Trustees are charged with contributing towards the promotion, conservation, and future of the countryside and natural heritage of Perth and Kinross.

Jane commented:

Lockdown has made a lot of people appreciate the amazing outdoors we are spoiled with in Perthshire, so the opportunity to be a part of a team driving the development and improving access to the countryside is amazing.

PKCT’s Chairman of the Board, Cedric Wilkins, said of the appointment:

We hope everyone helps us welcome Jane to our Board. Her experience as CEO of another charity gives her unique insight to the way we work and will help us develop our own skills and offerings. She is a fantastic talent, and we look forward to working with her.
