Help us make countryside access easier between Kirkmichael and Glenshee on the Cateran Trail through our Co-op Cause.

Works will include:

  • Replacing old waymarker posts
  • Renewing old finger posts
  • Replacing broken stiles with new easy-to-use gates

Until 7th October, Co-op members can support this cause by signing into their accounts to donate or voting for it at the Pitlochry Co-op - the local branch for this campaign.

£4,515.28 raised!

It is vital that the Trail is improved to provide a quality experience that continues to attract people to the area. Quality access to the countryside provides great opportunities to improve health and wellbeing and is vital for the local tourism economy. Revenue from tourism in Perth and Kinross is worth nearly £400 million annually with 12% of the local employed in the tourism sector compared with 7% for Scotland as a whole!

The project will involve the local community, the Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust and a local contractor.
