Conservation & Access Projects National Tree Collections of Scotland - Scotland has some of the world’s finest tree collections. Their diversity reflects the role many individual landowners have played over the centuries, collecting and planting specimen trees from all over the world. Some sites represent the early testing sites, where pioneering research into new species shaped today's forest management and planning practices. The best of Scotland’s tree collections have been brought together as the National Tree Collections of Scotland (NTCS) to increase public awareness of and access to these collections, to help our understanding of them and to protect this aspect of our national heritage for future generations. This initiative is a partnership between Perth & Kinross Countryside Trust, Scottish Forestry and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. - Click here to download the NTCS leaflet - Visit the NTCS website to learn more Manage Cookie Preferences
