Supporting Youth Groups

Over the next few years, PKCT hopes to work closely with youth groups across Perth and Kinross through the Perth and Kinross Youth Work Partnership.

In July 2022, we had great fun leading activities at Den O’Alyth with Alyth Youth Partnership. Activities on the day included: shelter building; fire and marshmallows; outdoor games; and assessing water quality by carrying out a stream dip and survey of the invertebrates we found!

We continue to support the youth groups through sessions in outdoor learning and are looking to develop this into a programme which can be used to support the completion of award schemes.

Youth Council

Involving young people in decisions which affect them is essential and we are keen to provide opportunities for young voices to be heard at PKCT. We are currently putting things in place to establish a Youth Council, which will allow 12 young people from across Perth and Kinross to work with us at PKCT and have their say.
