Following extreme weather, the NCN route 77 is currently impassable at Jubilee Bridge (Dunkeld), due to a landslip.

Given the scale of the damage, the route, which forms part of the River Tay Way, will likely be closed through much of October. Users of the route are advised that due to the landslip there is no through-access via the grounds of Dunkeld House Hotel.

If heading north, an alternative route for cyclists would be the minor road from Dunkeld to Rotmell Farm. From here it is possible to join the cycle path running along the east of the A9 and rejoin NCN 77 at the Logierait Bridge. A map showing the landslip location and the minor road detour can be found on the Perth and Kinross Council website by clicking HERE

While other sections of the route, also known as the "Salmon Run," are unaffected, we advise cyclists to take extra care given the likelihood of standing water and debris.

Further updates will be provided.
