Tree Planting at Bamff Wildland

Help us plant trees in our rewilding fields.

About this event

Bamff Wildland is a rewilding project in North East Perthshire where we are returning 450 acres of land to nature, including 12 fields that were in agricuilture until 2020. Our aim is to hugely boost biodiversity at Bamff, as well as to sequester more carbon and to provide 'eco-system services' such as flood prevention downstream, and drought mitigation.

We are helping the rewilding process in our former fields by planting small, protected copses of native trees and shrubs. We would love you to come and get involved!

The day will be divided into two sessions. 10-12 and 2-4. You can book for one or the other. Under 8s do not need tickets. No former experience is required. Food and refreshments will be provided after each session (soup and baking).

Please wear warm clothes and boots, bring gloves and a garden spade if you have one.

We will hold a free guided beaver habitat/Wildland walk for volunteers at 1-2pm if would like to learn more about our project (afternoon session people can come early for this). And you can check out our website at bamff.land

Photos will be taken during the course of the day. If you do not wish for your image/your child's image to appear on future publicity materials, etc. please let us know.
