News & Events Events Scottish Snowdrop Festival at Cluny House Gardens Enjoy the Scottish Snowdrop Festival at Cluny House Gardens everyday from 15 February to 11 March from 10am to 4pm. As detailed on VisitScotland's events page on the Celebration of Snowdrops at Cluny House Gardens: Walk beneath the Cluny 'Giants' surrounded by carpets of snowdrops and busy red squirrels. Cluny is a great place to visit later in the snowdrop season as we are situated at 600 feet thus the prime flowering time is throughout much of March. We have an interesting selection of different types of snowdrops as well as snowflakes and winter aconites. All of these flourish under Cluny’s spectacular trees which include two Giant redwoods, Tibetan Cherries with red peeling bark, beautiful birches and a sprawling fern-leaved beech. Also coming into flower at this time are some of the scarcer, special Asiatic primulas mainly in shades of blue, a contrast with the pure white snowdrops. Added to all of this is Cluny’s thriving population of red squirrels, very easily spotted especially at this time of year. Please come and visit this wonderful place. Admission to 'Celebration of Snowdrops' festival at Cluny House Gardens starts from £1.
